Education: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Formal business or management training including Project Management, Strategic Planning, some finance experience and related curriculum

Knowledge / Experience: 
• Five to eight years of overall IT experience in the following areas: - Networking, including LAN/WAN, Firewalls, wireless, Security and encryption technologies
• Experience with TCP/IP protocol communications
• Knowledge of Cisco’s and Arista product portfolio
• Firewall experience: Checkpoint as well as Palo Alto
• Load Balancer experience: F5 or Citrix Netscaler
• SASE experience: Prisma Access or Netscaler
• Cloud experience: AWS or Azure
• Advanced knowledge of Project Management methodology and best practices
• Knowledge of Network diagnostics, BGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, MPLS technologies
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Self starter with demonstrated listening skills

Seeking a Lead Systems Platform Engineer who will be responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, security and support of large multi-site, multi-vendor network communication environments. 

Job Description:
• Manage network projects
• Develop detailed requirements for upgrading existing corporate and Client networks, as well as re-architecting network segments in order to facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth
• Resolve network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally
• Participate in telecommunications-related initiatives
• Research and develop innovative solutions around unified network solutions
• Support assigned regional projects, which include responsibility for planning; time and cost control; resource utilization and implementation
• Support Vendor management
• Provide strategic technical direction on highly complex network systems project or activities involving the selection and recommendation of design approach and systems software technology
