Job Description:
The Applications Developer will work in the Brokerage team that develops and supports applications that provide Operations the tools to clear shipments through customs, assign duties and taxes, prepare customs paperwork, and maintain importer documentation. The Applications Developer will assist with the development effort for the Next Generation Brokerage (NGB) program.
The Applications Developer should possess the following:
• 3 – 5 years developing applications using .Net core and RESTful API development
• Expertise in working with JSON
• Knowledge of SQL Server, stored procedures, and writing moderately complex queries
• Knowledge of microservice architectures
• Experience using Agile development methodology
• Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, corrects, and documents moderate to highly complex programs to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Strong team player, excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to learn knew languages and adapt based on requirements
• Major bonus for developers with experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
