Job Description: Projects & Administration (P&A) is part of COO team of the Finance Department for a Bank. The Financial Division oversees the accounting, Financial Management & Budget, Regulatory Reporting, Financial and Strategic Steering & ALM and Tax of the US affiliates. P&A is in charge of building data-driven financial applications and supporting financial applications that require non-IT technical support.
Summary:
- Coordination of Finance Projects and Finance users support for Oracle Financials, Business Object and Head-Office reporting.
- Reports to Head of Projects & Administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Finance users and IT to implement and support assigned projects.
- Build finance applications under the direction of the Head of P&A using development tools available in MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python,
- Provide application support to Financial Division applications such as Oracle Financials, Leasequery, Business Objects, etc.
- Perform application testing and write documentation on financial applications supported or developed.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate some understanding of financial division work.
- Update the data referential in Oracle Financial
- Close the monthly periods in coordination with the accounting department
