Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Strategy:
Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining key milestones, tasks, and timelines for the migration from QuickBooks Online to Epicor ERP.
Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a cross-functional project team, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the main point of contact between the project team and key stakeholders.
Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to executive leadership and relevant departments.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and challenges related to the migration project and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address issues to prevent delays and ensure the project stays on track.
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and technical experts to ensure successful integration and data migration.
Evaluate and select third-party tools or services that may be required for the project.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy and system functionality post-migration.
Conduct thorough testing to validate the effectiveness of the migration process.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and any necessary technical documentation.
Ensure that project documentation is organized, accessible, and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration).
Proven experience managing technical projects, particularly ERP migrations.
In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Epicor ERP systems.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
