Job Description/ Responsibilities
1. SAP BW on HANA Implementation: Lead and oversee end-to-end SAP BW on HANA implementation projects, ensuring successful project delivery, meeting client requirements, and adhering to best practices. BW Object conversion from older DSO/Cubes/MP/Infoset to ADSO & HCPR. Native HANA Modeling.
2. Data Modeling: Design and develop data models using SAP BW on HANA, optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity.
3. Data Extraction and Transformation: Create efficient data extraction and transformation processes to integrate data from various source systems into SAP BW on HANA.
4. Performance Tuning: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SAP BW on HANA applications, optimizing system performance.
5. Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP BW on HANA with other SAP modules and external systems.
6. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and enhance BI reports and dashboards using SAP BW and related tools (e.g., SAP BOBJ, SAP Analytics Cloud).
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP BW on HANA solutions, including technical specifications, design
documents, and user guides.
8. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, provide expert advice, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
What are the top 3 skills required for this role?
10-12 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW and HANA. – Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization. – Proficiency in SAP BW on HANA, Native HANA Modeling – Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. – Effective communication and client-facing skills. – SAP certifications are a plus.
